ACUTE x CiG x SILVER WIGS -Korea Tour 2024-

June 7-8, 2024, ACUTE (Okazaki), CiG (Okazaki), and SILVER WIGS (Tokushima) will tour Seoul, Korea, with generous support from the Korean HARDCORE PUNK scene, including SEOUL DOLMANGCHI, for two very successful dates. The two days were a great success.Here is a brief tour report of those two days.
【 Day1 】
Arrive at Incheon International Airport in Korea from Kansai International Airport.
First to greet us were Changun (Vo) and Hong-gu (Dr) of SEOUL DOLMANGCHI and Dongwoo (Ba) of SCUMRAID, who supported us on this tour. I was happy to see them again after a long time.
All the members headed to Seoul city center by train from the airport and headed directly to the live house “Baby Doll” on the first day of the tour. This was my first visit to downtown Seoul, but I found it to be similar to Japan in some ways, making it an easy place to spend time.
We met up with members of SILVER WIGS (Tokushima) here.
The first day's gig was NAHU / SEOUL DOLMANGCHI / COCKRASHER / CHASM / SILVER WIGS / CiG / ACUTE / this guys! All Korean bands including SEOUL DOLMANGCHI were cool! I have known Mr. Yamaguchi (Dr) of NAHU for a long time, so it was great to see him again.
After the GIG, we were treated to Samgyeopsal at a bar, the Samgyeopsal was great and we had a great time socializing with the friends we played with that day.
【 Day2 】
Because we had been drinking until the wee hours of the morning the day before, everyone was hungover from the morning on the second day......
On the second day, we did a little shopping before the concert and went to eat Korean spicy food. Since we went to the downtown area of Seoul, there were more people and excitement than on the first day.
I don't know the name of this spicy food, but it was spicy anyway and tasted the best.
The second day was a GIG at CLUB SHARP.
THE RESETERS / OBALTAN / RUMKICKS / SUTEGORO / SILVER WIGS / CiG / ACUTE / this guys! The crowd was excited from the beginning of the gig, and all the bands were looking their best. It was also a great memory for me to be able to play with RUMKICKS, a band that is popular all over the world.
As on the first day, after the GIG, we toasted at Samgyeopsal and Chamisul (Jinro)!
Members of NAHU and ex-FIND THE SPOT, who had played together on the first day, came to see the gig. It was a great day to meet and mingle with so many friends.
The Korean HARDCORE PUNK scene is very enthusiastic, both bands and customers, and I really felt that it is a great scene. All of our friends who were involved in the tour were of great character and warmly supported us who came from Japan.

We will definitely go back to Korea for another tour!
